Only 150 of these pressed. Looks good spinning around, like waxen circular candy floss, made to visually fit the sugary goodness that flows out of it. OD on Day Ravies.

about

Ever since their dreamy early demos Sydney’s Day Ravies have been producing winning indie-pop that flits joyously between influences and modes. Each of the four members (Lani Crooks, Caroline de Dear, Matt Neville and Sam Wilkinson) contribute songs, resulting in the band’s trademark sonic cocktail of ‘80s and ‘90s indie-pop, synth pop, psych and college rock. Live, Day Ravies are a vibrant, fuzz-full onslaught, of guitars, synthesizers and heady harmonies.

"Day Ravies have always had that 4AD sound down pat – album opener "Fake Beach" is a dreamy stomp box odyssey...Lani Crooks' breathy vocals feature on the bulk, including the synth-led "This Side of the Fence", which sounds like Broadcast covering Stereolab." Rolling Stone

"The surf-rock channelled on Skewed is blissful in its sunny disposition, and other highlights — most notably the back-to-back Hickford Whizz and Halfway Up A Hill — prove that Day Ravies have some quality songwriting chops. In fact, the longer the album goes, the more cohesion and focus it shows." The Music
